Dieguito con bigotes - Dieguito with Mustaches
Realizada en 2020, esta serie de dibujos a lápiz sobre papel continúa la exploración autorreferencial del artista sobre la identidad y la memoria.
Partiendo de fotografías de su propia infancia y adolescencia, Beyró interviene las imágenes añadiendo un bigote dibujado. Este gesto, a la vez lúdico y conceptual, superpone el símbolo de la adultez sobre momentos del pasado. La técnica detallada del grafito crea un efecto realista que pone en tensión lo nostálgico de la imagen original con la intervención posterior, continuando el diálogo entre el "Diego" adulto y el "Dieguito" niño que es central en su obra.

Created in 2020, this series of pencil-on-paper drawings continues the artist's self-referential exploration of identity and memory.
Working from photographs of his own childhood and adolescence, Beyró intervenes in the images by adding a drawn mustache. This gesture, both playful and conceptual, superimposes the symbol of adulthood onto moments from the past. The detailed graphite technique creates a realistic effect that places the nostalgia of the original image in tension with the later intervention, continuing the dialogue between the adult 'Diego' and the child 'Dieguito' that is central to his work.
